Howdy Camp 2026 Co-Chairs

The role of a Chairperson on Staff is to train and develop up to 16 Counselors/Teamers alongside their partner to effectively lead discussions, activities, and informational skits during Individual-Camp and All-Camp time. Co-chairs handle "behind the scenes" logistics throughout the duration of camp, which extends from their selection in mid-October through the execution of Howdy Camp in early January and Continuity Events hosted in the Spring 2026 semester. Chairs are responsible for planning events, mitigating risks, facilitating counselor activities, organizing their camp's programs and activities for their portions of camp and maintaining accountability within their assigned groups in alignment with the ATC Mission, Values and policies. Each Semester the current chairs dedicate a significant amount of their time and energy to help assure that the incoming campers have the best experience possible.
